So, essentially, this is the FAQ for Singers. Any questions that you need to ask or need answered will be here. If you have a question that is NOT on this list, feel free to post it as a reply to this thread and our admins will add your question and answer to the original!

A: No, you do not. The guidelines underneath this board will help greatly with everything you need. Of course, they are excellent books that we definitely reccomend to anyone who hasn't read them.

Newborns

• term for vampire that has just recently been created
  
• have HIGH thirst for humans
  
• if you wish to make a vampire in character, please contact the administrator for more information
  
• if alone, newborns are extremely lethal
  
• stronger than average vampires because of their freshly turned bodies
  
• main concern of the Volturi

Appearance

• very pale, translucent skin
  
• skin is ice cold & "hard," like marble
  
• very white teeth; NO fangs
  
• eyes depend on your diet; if you are a human dieter, your eyes are black with crimson around the pupil and iris when thirsty, and crimson when not. if you are a vegetarian, your eyes are light gold/ochre when fed, and black when hungry.
  
• virtually "perfect;" hunting mechanism
  
• bruises under eyes
  
• sparkle in sunlight

Background

• werewolves are MORTAL enemies of vampires
  
• to a vampire, werewolves smell bad
  
• VERY strong, fast; excellent vision and hearing
  
• can NOT sleep
  
• don't need to breathe; uncomfortable not to for long periods of time
  
• blood is addiction
  
• human blood is more filling and satisfying than animal blood; much more temptation from humans
  
• la tua cantante, or singer, is the name for a vampire who finds a human whose blood is EXACTLY their own (ex: humans and ice cream; human finds his favorite flavor) however, finding one is VERY rare. It puts a GREAT amount of temptation on the vampire to kill him/her.
  
• vampires distance themselves from humans; can NOT give away their existence, so permanent residences do not often occur

Volturi

• the ruling family of vampires
  
• enforce the rules of the vampire world
  
• ONE rule is to keep existence away from humans
  
• ALL Volturi are human eating vampires with abilities

Appearance

• very warm body temperature
  
• resilient to cold
  
• usually very strong people; few exceptions
  
• have human eyes in both forms
  
• wolf form is MUCH larger than average wolf
  
• length of hair affects the length of fur
  
• can't talk while in wolf form

Background

• heal fast
  
• eat a lot (fast metabolism)
  
• gene for werewolf existence runs in the family
  
• gene takes action usually in teenage years
  
• werewolves tend to stay strictly in pack residence
  
• purpose is distinctly to kill vampires; some fight this instinct
  
• run fast and across long distances
  
• vampires smell bad; their smell is icy and burns a werewolf's nose

Venescence Beach

• commonly called Vee Beach
  
• resided in by Selamona Pack; currently ONLY wolf pack available
  
• members of a pack hear all the thoughts of others
  
• keep vampires off of their land; part of a strict treaty made years ago
  

Imprinting

• means the proccess when a werewolf "falls in love"
  
• VERY strong bond; unbreakable and exists throughout the ages
  
• happens when werewolf sees the person
  
• live for their companion
  
• EXTREMELY rare occurence
