Death City's in relative peace. With kishin Asura out of the way, it seems like it's clear skies from onwards sail. However, with the fall of a kishin, another one's likely to rise. Witches are on the move; their very bodies are responding to the insanity wavelengths that's slowly shedding upon this world. And Shinigami-sama has begun to detect this threat - a small, troubling feeling, by intuition, would ripple into mass effect.
Shibusen is starting to tighten up its schedule. More and more kishin eggs are sprouting all over the place - and they're beginning to lack enough manpower to handle the situations. Desperate times call for desperate needs - it's a race now for the shibusen students, to see who'll become the next professional meister or death scythe.
